That is good advice and I do all my work at 1 to 1. This was an assembly that I picked up from the user library. It is a drawing of a car that I would like to use in one of my assemblies.

    You'll have to chalk this one up to lessons learned the hard way! Never, ever create your CAD models at any other scale other than 1 to 1. Drawings of these models can be scaled to what ever is needed but the models are always done at actual size. It doesn't matter if you are designing bottle caps or battleships, 1 to 1 is the rule.
