    I am planning on retiring from the company I have worked at for the last 34 years, a year from October. I would like to work part-time out of my home and I am trying to decide whether to buy Solidworks or Pro-E software. My experience is with Pro-E, but it seems that Solidworks would be more than adequate and less costly. I have just recently purchased a two year student license for Solidworks with cosmosworks so that I may try it. I am unable to make the cosmosfloworks work (an authentication issue), but the main program seems to work ok. I would appreciate your thoughts.
