This EUCI conference will provide a forum for utility executives, regulators, customers, and experts in public involvement to discuss how transmission developers and their affected communities can come together to identify the best possible project parameters. Attendees will learn how utilities are able to obtain meaningful input and will find out how different approaches are used in order to overcome objections, reach out to traditional adversaries, and improve relationships with community leaders and regulators. Transmission developers and partners will present on the different avenues of approach for siting projects, the philosophy of their companies regarding public participation, their typical methodology, internal training, and organizational responsibility.

New for this year’s conference is an in-depth, interactive session that allows the audience to share best practices in an open format, allowing for maximum exchange of ideas and expertise.
