This will be the 18th year of a conference that has demonstrated the enthusiasm for the potential of clean energy like natural gas and renewables in the ten border states is boundless. We fully expect that we will see continued progress after the 17th annual Forum in the fall of 2010 in Chihuahua, Chih.

We have representatives from the federal governments of both Mexico and the United States, as well as state and local officials from both sides of the border. We have men and women from the private sector - energy producers and energy consumers - university professors, researchers and members of environmental groups.
