Hey Paul, I think that would be an excellent discussion some of your peers could help contribute to. I'd try posting that question under the discussion section of Windpower Exchange (under Groups at the top of this page). Here is also a little about birds , though they don't present a huge problem. Aesthetics does to an extent. But one of the biggest issues right now is transmission, since the grid hasn't been updated in years and we really need a national grid to make transmission of any renewable energy possible.
