  • I am a Cetified SolidWorks Professional. My Certificate ID is C-7HAUPLVG9P
For the most part someone will send me a prototype that they machined or hand made and they ask me to change it to a mold worthy model with drawings. Or sometimes they have a product already but need to add features or who knows what. I usually charge people by the hour that I actually work on their project at a rate of $40/hr. Some people ask for deadlines. If I miss the deadline, they get a discount, if I beat the deadline people have given me extra, but I do not ask for it.
As for my background I am a mechanical engineer in training. I have worked with pumps, engines, sensors, and lately shopping carts. I graduated in 2006 and have been trying soak up experience right and left. I have done castings and plastic molds. I also do some inventing on the side.
