  • Hello Alex

That’s wonderful that right now I read your article! As a product designer I found some experiences around my 8 years on product designing (you can see some of my products at here:

    https://plus.google.com/u/0/

actually some heruble experiences, you know I really like the mechanisms and designing of mechanical products, but every time and everywhere that I worked at the companies at past 8 years I figure out that my ideas and my products kill me and my positions at there!! I'm confused and I can't find a solution to fix that! But …

You know my first attempts and challenge always was "the changing the products" and make them better! But that works wrong and finally they convert to the weapon to press me!

3 years ago I work at company they have a product that they product it about last 40 years ago! (A water pump for air cooler) that’s absolutely natural that it has some problems (bad designing, low efficiency, high production process and cost consume and …) I design a new one (design approaches: low at everything!) you can find its presentation video at my page on Google and you tube(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5CbtIVp8fyg ) But this change feedback for meà I forced to leave that company 3days after my public presentation !

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_X6RYl-2d_s

After a week I start my new job at a carpet machinery company, after 1 month I design and produce a new machine (Rotary high speed tufting gun):

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sZR9SfczdUw

Then I design another one but I try to control my ignition to intro my new machine to verify the conditions! (Actually I surprised that they must swap me now!) Until now (10 month) they do nothing to say directly me to leave them but they also do nothing to stay with them!

This is the destiny of who he wants to make some changes!!

    Yours truly

    Ali

  • Alex: Nice to meet you. Something off topic. Take a look at this; http://dev.republicoftheunitedstates.org/the-change-our-founders-be... Let me know what you think.

  • I could call you in 2 hours, if you let me know your number.

  • How is going to be the interview?

    by phone?

do you have a phone number?

  • Thanks. Not my best tie, but oh well. ; )
  • Alex, nice article.. super relevant to design engineering and the sometimes massive gap to the production floor.

This is an issue that has stood the test of time.. all we can do is raise awareness.

    Cheers,

    Mike Wayte

  • Sorry, I'm not an EE.  I won't be able to help you with this task.
  • Alex:

Great to hear from you and thank you for your interest. I am available any time, let's just set up an appointment. Give me a few times which work for you, and I will let you know.

Also, you are welcome to use any of the materials on our website...you may want to look at the "News" section on www.powercalcpak.com. Last, I am bringing out a white paper next month which will say even more. So, your message is very timely.

I look forward to speaking with you.
