"Hi Allan:
You remind of my start in electronics as a young adult at age 19. I had a plug in bread board terminal strip and was using batteries for power and I was blowing the chips right of the strip when I powered up. I would hear snap crackle, and…"

  • Hey! I saw you love technology, and are an EE, so I thought I'd try my luck in getting an interview with you. I am looking for electrical engineers to interview about a series of free applications my company is developing to help when searching for parts. I'd love to talk to you for 20 mins - send me a message if you can help. Thanks!
  • Hey John....you look slick in the photo man...like Saturday Night Fever....cool....time passes for everyone....myself....was cop for 20 years....tired out now...but too young too 'retire' ..found great passion in tinkering and blowing things up....almost everyone that passes the workshop mentions I shoulda done engineering...as got tons of things lying around....actually won 10day all expenses tech holiday to Germany 5 years ago for something I made and was noticed....went to a plastic injection "tech week"...man some brainy people out there....makes me envious.
also at moment my biggest interest is to convert a small hand wind "surface grinder" into a hydraulic powered version.....then also make up a cnc 'tool cutter sharpener / grinder' for sharpening all my cnc cutting tools....now thats got my interest....
    drives my wife crazy.....
if anything doesn't work...I simply kick in the cabinet door and blast it with my shotgun.....you think the cops affected me somewhat....?????
people say I'm crazy...but I think that they're all just jealous cause only I can hear the voices.
    regards
stay well all, if not at least fat and fertile...

  • Hi John.....names Allan....just joined and was browsing around.....I do cnc work from my homeshop......small backyard shop.....teaching myself cnc etc and hopefully toolmaking....injection molds. I enjoy all high tech, precision work and electronics (if I don't blow it up first). I have had great "fun" making smoke come out of elec components....well its reckoned when components are made a fortune is spent putting the smoke into them and the secret is not to let that smoke out.
